How to download video from YouTube (or others)?
How can I download video on the computer?
1. Copy the URL of page with pleasant video from your browser.
2. Paste it in the field on the main page and press Download.
3. When your link to a file will be generated - press the link "Download video file" (under the form) the right mouse button and will select in the menu, "Save link as..."
4. Some of the video-hosting-services do not provide you with the real name of the video file.
So you will have to rename the file before or after saving (for example: video.flv). Also it is possible to copy the address of the generated link in any program for downloading (for example: FlashGet).
For play video (.flv and others) - use for example: VLC Player.

Video was saved in OGV-format successfully, and how now it to play?
Not any videoplayer can play a video file, saved in OGV-format (OGG).
For this purpose can be necessary the special player. For this:
- Choose a video player, allowing to play video in OGV-format.

Or you can to download and install, for example free VLC Player or free SMPlayer. Or you can to download and install the new version of browser Mozilla Firefox with possibility of viewing of an OGV-file in a browser window. Or you can find any other videoplayer.

This depends on how big the Youtube video is and depends on the speed of your computer and the speed of your connection.
What is a streaming video?
A streaming video is a video file located on a remote server, and streamed to you by that server. Streaming videos can not be normally downloaded as files because they are hidden behind the server's stream player.
How do I rename file to .flv?
To change to .flv, find your downloaded file and change (rename) (if the file has been saved for example in such form "videofile.htm" or "videofile.part") the file extension from .htm (or .part) to .flv extension in the filename.
If the file has been saved for example in such form "videofile.flv.htm" - that it is possible to rename the filename, having cleaned unnecessary .part from the name to receive correct extension in the end of the filename ("videofile.flv").
If there is no extension, then simply add .flv in the end of a filename (for example here so: "videofile.flv")..
Probably you will need to enable display of expansions of files if the full name of a file isn't visible to you:
- In Windows in any folder on your hard drive go to "Tools" (preliminary having pressed button Alt for occurrence of the top menu, if it is hidden) > "Folder options" > "View" tab then scroll down to "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck that box.
Click "ok" to save changes. Now you should see the file extension which you can rename.
